"S/T" models are powered by PS1 (phantom) or PS2 (pins 7 and 8) power over the ISDN line cord. Power is typically supplied by the NT1. "U" models can be locally powered, or remotely powered by a bulk supply using PS2 power over the ISDN line cord. Power supplies are available separately.

Both the 8610 and 8620 models are on the DSN Approved Products List. Products on this list have received Joint Interoperability Certification (JIC) and Information Assurance Accreditation (IAA) from the Defense Information System Network (DISN) Designated Approval Authorities (DAA) in accordance with the Department of Defense Instruction DoDI 8100.3.

Options

8030X Button Expansion Module

This option adds 30 multifunction keys to the ISDN Phone 8610 or 8620.

The additional multifunction keys can be set up as Call Appearance keys, speed dial keys, Direct Station Select keys, or Feature Activator keys. All multifunction keys have both red and green lamp indicators for easy status viewing. This module is ideal for answering positions and high-density key applications.

Only one 8030X per telephone is supported.

Terminal Adapters

Terminal adapter options enhance the functionality of ISDN Phones 8610 and 8620. Models are available with a serial (USB or RS-232) port to interface the telephone with a Windows PC, and/or an analog port for standard analog telephone devices. Each Terminal Adapter is housed in a module that replaces the expansion cover on the bottom of the telephone.

Local Direct Power Option -PWR1

The -PWR1 Desktop Power Supply option provides filtered operating power for “U” models via the phone’s barrel connector.

Local Direct Power Option -PWR3

The -PWR3 Wall-Mount Power Supply option provides filtered operating power for “U” models on pins 7 and 8 of the line cord (PS2 power arrangement). This power supply has sufficient capacity to power one NT1 and two ISDN telephones.

Privacy with Voice Announce Disabled –P, Microphone Removed –M

The -P and -M options are for secure areas that do not require TSG-6 certification. Voice Announce is a feature that is disabled by default, but can be enabled and configured by the installer. It allows incoming calls to be answered automatically by the speakerphone. The feature can be set up to answer all calls, calls to specific lines, calls from specific callers, or call types based on the ringing pattern.

-P has the Voice Announce capability completely disabled; the phone cannot be set up to auto-answer incoming calls. This prevents someone from calling the phone and listening in to conversations in the room. It still has a microphone for use with the speakerphone.

-M has the microphone physically removed. This disables hands-free talkback when using the speakerphone or Voice Announce.

PhoneLink for Outlook

PhoneLink® for Outlook is a free add-in for Microsoft® Outlook® that manages inbound calls to multiple call appearances on a Teo 8610/8620 ISDN telephone equipped with an 8001TA, 8003TA, 8004TA, or 8005TA Terminal Adapter. Ringing, active, and held calls are shown in a popup window. You can answer calls, transfer calls, or place calls on hold with a single click.

PhoneLink for Outlook integrates with Outlook's Contacts for incoming call identification. Call details are recorded in Outlook's Journal.

ISDN Telephone Setup Wizard

The ISDN Telephone Setup Wizard is a Windows program that will print labels, service ordering forms, and setup instructions for a single 6210/6220 phone or a multiple-phone installation. Labels can be printed on plain paper or on perforated label forms supplied with the telephone.
