Voicemail Options

To set Voicemail options on the Account Information screen

  1. Enter an EMAIL ADDRESS to receive a notification email whenever anyone leaves a voicemail message for you.
  2. Select the option ATTACH VOICEMAIL FILE to have an audio recording of the voicemail (in WAV format) attached to the email.
  3. Select the option SAVE COPY ON SERVER to retain a copy of the audio file on the server until you delete it through the dial-up voicemail system or your Call Activity log.

If you do not select this option, the voicemail file will be deleted from the system as soon as it is emailed to you. System storage limits and usage for voicemail appear at the bottom of this section. Additional voicemails will not be recorded when this limit is reached.

  4. Enter a number for a PERSONAL OPERATOR. Callers will be transferred to this number if they dial "0" after reaching your voicemail message.

Each user sets up their own voicemail password through the dial-up voicemail system; however an additional ALTERNATE PASSWORD may be set up by the system administrator. This gives you access to your voicemail account if you forget your password. The system administrator can choose to hide or not use this field.

  5. Click Save.
