Overview – ISDN Phone 8610-8620
From the ergonomically designed handset to simplified labeling, the 8600 Series shows a thoughtful evolution from our industry-standard 6200 Series. Automatic set-up capabilities and simple programming make the phones quick to install and easy to use. Reliable and never obsolete, new feature enhancements and upgrades can be added easily. The 8610 model is equipped with 10 keys (expandable to 40 keys), and the 8620 model has 20 keys (expandable to 50 keys). Both are available with a "U" interface (built-in NT1), or an "S/T" interface (requires an external NT1). Optional Terminal Adapters can be used simultaneously with the 8030X Button Expansion Module. "S/T" models are powered by PS1 (phantom) or PS2 (pins 7 and 8) power over the ISDN line cord. Power is typically supplied by the NT1. "U" models can be locally powered, or remotely powered by a bulk supply using PS2 power over the ISDN line cord. Power supplies are available separately. A large-screen model with 10 keys, the 8810 model, is also available. Both the 8610 and 8620 models are on the DSN Approved Products List. Products on this list have received Joint Interoperability Certification (JIC) and Information Assurance Accreditation (IAA) from the Defense Information System Network (DISN) Designated Approval Authorities (DAA) in accordance with the Department of Defense Instruction DoDI 8100.3. |
