Unified Communications Shows Positive Growth Signs
While some skeptics may still argue that UC is merely another technology trend, it’s hard to dispute solid numbers. Recently, CDW-G released its third annual Unified Communications Tracking Survey, which revealed that UC implementation rates have doubled to 16 percent since 2010. The report surveyed 900 IT decision-makers and got their feedback about UC adoption in their organizations.
The positive growth of UC can be partially attributed to mobility. Among the top UC features that were mentioned, access to work email and voicemail via Smartphone, video conferencing and the ability to receive voicemail in email were crucial for the group surveyed. With mobile devices getting cheaper and smarter every few months, there is no doubt that more and more people will want access to the benefits that UC provides.
The people have spoken; the future is here and now. Workers want flexible work options that allow them to work without geographic or technological restrictions. Answer their call, if you haven’t already; invest in a quality UC system like Teo.
